Recruitment Process
After reviewing guild policies and submitting an application, you will enter the recruitment process. This begins with a thorough evaluation of your application. Your responses will be analyzed and discussed by members and officers in a closed forum. If an application is accepted, you will be accepted into the guild and be placed on initiate status. However, this is only the beginning of the process. The guild tag is for allowing you to be involved in the guild and for ease of communication. You will be held to tight standards and heavily scrutinized for at least 3 weeks and at least 4 raids. After this trial period, you will be evaluated as a whole. Criteria focus largely around raid performance; however, soft skills such as your ability to mesh well with members in/out of raids will also be taken into consideration. A unanimous decision between present officers, with member input, must be made to be promoted to member status. It should be noted that at any point during the trial period, you may be removed from the recruitment process for any reason. Applicants should meet the following minimum qualities:
  • Have a similar attitude towards raiding of that of the guild.
  • Be able to maintain a performance of their class at the highest level.
  • Have access to Vent (mic not necessary but highly recommended)
  • Be level 80.
  • Be exalted with the Sons of Hodir (and at least revered for helm glyphs with respective faction(s)).
A Few Tips for Submitting an Application:
  • Please write all responses in sentences and then copy paste to the application form.
  • Don’t worry about submitting blocks of text. The software doesn't allow much formatting.
  • Be as thorough as possible in every answer. If you don't take the time to write at least a few paragraphs about yourself, that will reflect poorly on your dedication.
  • Take your time (Grammar/Spell check please). We promise to put in an equal effort into reviewing your application as you put into writing it.
  • Read over the recruitment process and address any issues you may have within your application.
  • Do NOT submit an incomplete application. You will not have the chance to edit or add in new information (such as a WWS or Recount report) once submitted.
  • Applications without proper armory links, WWS (or equivalent), or incomplete answers will almost automatically be disqualified.
